You need a low cost VPS and are trying to find the best deal?  Well, we have gone through and found a handful of  cheap virtual private server hosting plans.

Needless to say, these are not top of the line, all the bells and whistles plans.  They are cheap VPS plans with the tradeoffs that come with it.  Not all low cost providers are the same though. Some offer very limited RAM, while others over low disk space.  Some others even offer really low bandwidth.   If you have specific needs, it pays to shop around.  I was quite surprised on what you can get for under 11 dollars.

The lowest priced plan on my list, from BurstNet, offers 512MB Ram, a Terabyte (1000GB) of Bandwidth, 20Gb of storage and 2 IP addresses.  One plan from Fanatical VPS offers unmetered bandwidth.   If you want an instant VPS setup, then check out the 2 plans in the list from Cocoa Host.

So what don’t you get with the Cheapest VPS hosting?  Well, managed servers, for starters.  These plans are for people that know how to configure their own VPS.  Available options and upgrades are limited as well. Another thing that may be lacking is 24×7 support.  It may just be email support only.

Cheap virtual private servers can be very reliable, however, they are a budget plan, so you should not expect as much as you would from higher end plans.
